YAF launch joint strikes with Iran, Hezbollah on vital Israeli targets

The Yemeni Armed Forces (YAF) announced the launch of its third military operation targeting Israeli- occupied territories, as part of an ongoing campaign in support of regional Resistance fronts.

In a statement, Brigadier General Yahya Saree said the YAF carried out the “third military operation” within the Sacred Jihad Battle, launching a salvo of ballistic missiles at “sensitive targets” in southern occupied Palestine.

The statement added that the operation was conducted “in continuation of supporting and backing the fronts of Resistance” and as part of a “religious, moral, and humanitarian duty” toward allied forces in Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, and Palestine.

Coordinated operation with regional allies

According to the statement, the strike was carried out in coordination with Iran and Hezbollah, emphasizing that the operation “successfully achieved its objectives."

On Tuesday morning, at 6:25 am, the Israeli military command said that it identified a missile attack from Yemen, as warning sirens sounded across southern occupied Palestine, extending from Dimona in the al-Naqab desert to coastal Askalan. Since early morning, multiple drone and rocket attacks have been launched from Lebanon, and a total of four waves of ballistic missile strikes from Iran.

The Yemeni Armed Forces warned that continued Israeli escalation and attacks across the region, including in Lebanon, Iran, Iraq, and Palestine, would be met with further escalation.

They stated that such actions “will only push free Yemen toward further escalation," indicating that operations would persist until aggression ceases and blockades are lifted.

Yemen's support for region's people persists

Despite its location at the far end of the Arabian Peninsula, Yemen has remained true to its promise to support countries and peoples subject to both Israeli and American aggression. In November 2023, the YAF launched a long-lasting naval campaign to support the Palestinian people in Gaza, only ending their operations after a ceasefire was reached two years later.

Yemeni forces also intensified their missile attacks against Israeli targets, nearly 2,000 km away, amid the escalated Israeli aggression on Lebanon in late 2024.

On Monday, Iran's Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) Quds Force Commander Esmail Qaani said that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's ambitions to expand a regional security belt have collapsed under pressure from Resistance forces, stating that the firepower of Hezbollah and Ansar Allah “exposed the emptiness of his promises."

The Iranian military official declared that the aspirations of the martyred leaders of the Resistance have been fulfilled, pointing to a unified operations room across the Resistance front to coordinate attacks.

He closed with a direct message about shifting regional dynamics, “Get used to the new order in the region.”
